The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language instruction, with proven expertise in delivering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or A-Level French curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging French lessons as per IBDP curriculum requirements.
• Develop and implement assessments in alignment with IB standards and practices.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes intercultural understanding and student inquiry.
• Guide students in internal assessments and Extended Essay (if applicable).
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and effective interdisciplinary teaching.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and IBDP meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French / French Literature / Language Studies or related field.
• Minimum C1 level certification in French (DELF/DALF/TCF/TEF or equivalent) if not a degree holder in French.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in IBDP French or Cambridge A Levels in a non-residential school setting.
• In-depth understanding of IB pedagogy and assessment practices preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire students and support diverse learning needs.
