What You’ll Do (Beyond the Obvious)

You’ll be a facilitator of thought, not a conveyor of curriculum. You’ll bring structure, creativity, and presence into the digital classroom. You’ll hold space for students to explore, question, and grow.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:
• Align deeply with the School’s academic culture and vision.
• Research, prepare and deliver lesson plans that are rooted in real-world relevance and intellectual curiosity.
• Create content and presentations for daily classes that are both rigorous and human.
• Facilitate online classes that spark engagement, even when the camera is off.
• Use digital tools with intentionality—not just to teach, but to connect.
• Design meaningful assessments—formative and summative—that support real learning.
• Respond to parents as partners, not just correspondents.
• Own compliance and safety, because trust and care are non-negotiable.

You’ve taught students, but you’ve also learned from them.

Essentials We’re Looking For:
• At least 3 years of focused teaching experience in Economics at the IGCSE level, with a proven track record of student success in Cambridge board examinations.
• A postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field from a recognized university.
• In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Economics syllabus, assessment objectives, and exam techniques.
• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to create engaging, structured, and interactive lessons.
• Ability to design concept-driven lessons, facilitate discussions on economic issues, and guide students in developing analytical and evaluative skills required at the IGCSE level.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills, particularly in a virtual or hybrid learning environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• (Experience should be in an international School teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics)
