Job Title: IGCSE Social Studies Teacher
• Location:Emerald International School, Nelamangala, Bengaluru.
• Position type:Full Time, Residential
• Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in History, Geography, Economics, and Global Perspectives in accordance with the IGCSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the school’s vibrant community life.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or qualification recognized by an accredited body.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to the educational and personal development of students.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
