Title: Data Steward
Location: India (Remote)
Type: Contract with long-term continuous extensions
Shift Schedule: 1pm-+pm IST
A fortune 100 client is looking add Data Stewards to a variety of programs within SAP Customer, SAP Material, SAP Vendor, Consumer, CSR and Supplier teams.
Stewardship responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Conducting data assessments
Fit Gap Analysis
Assisting with creation of data quality dashboards
Data discovery
Data quality remediation
Defining data quality rules/definitions working alongside business stakeholders and end users
Data Cataloging utilizing Axon and other Informatica Tools
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management or Data Stewardship
Strong background in data discovery
Experience with conducting data assessments and fit-gap analysis and then remediating your findings
SAP knowledge in one of the following domains: Customer, Material, Vendor, Consumer or Supplier
Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.
Strong SQL knowledge and with the ability to extract data via SQL and write complex queries
Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules
Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision.
Excellent written and oral communication
