❖ Responsibilities:
• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical parts as per technical drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, fit, and finish of all mechanical components during integration.
• Oversee unit testing post-assembly for performance, safety, and quality validation.
• Support packaging, labeling, and storage operations to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Liaise with vendors for incoming part verification and collaborate with QA to address any deviations.
• Contribute to production documentation, including process checklists, inspection logs, and traceability. • Participate in problem-solving and corrective actions related to production defects or rework.
• Ensure workplace safety, 5S, and cleanliness throughout all operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Procurement, Stores, QA) for smooth operations.
❖ Qualifications:
• Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within medical device or similar regulated domains.
• Strong understanding of production shop floor documentation like work instructions, process flow, assembly check sheets, product and process parameters etc
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse various issues and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborative individual with knowhow of best manufacturing practices and experience of working in cross-functional teams.
• Awareness on housekeeping, 5S Activities, personal protective equipment (PPEs).
