Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Import Manager with a proven expertise in managing international trade, customs compliance, and logistics and demonstrating a strong foundation in global trade practices.
International Trade Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and customs laws. Stay updated on changes in import and export laws and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
Identify and evaluate international suppliers and distributors. Negotiate terms, conditions, and contracts with overseas partners.
Logistics and Freight Management:
Coordinate and optimize international shipments to ensure timely delivery. Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with logistics partners.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of import/export documentation. Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and shipments.
Customs Clearance:
Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate smooth clearance processes. Resolve any customs-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in international transactions and develop mitigation strategies. Implement measures to reduce the impact of geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
Cost Management:
Analyze and optimize import costs, including duties, taxes, and transportation expenses. Negotiate favorable terms to minimize overall costs.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
