About the Role
We are seeking an Interior Designer who will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing interior construction projects from concept through to completion for our hospitality and commercial projects. The role involves developing bespoke, functional, and visually compelling design solutions for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects, ensuring that each space is tailored to reflect the client’s vision, brand identity, and practical requirements.
The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, consultants, and construction teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that enhance both aesthetics and functionality of their space.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct design briefs by consulting and discussing with clients and stakeholders, aiming to understand and explore the initial project brief and data given by the client. This includes clarifying the type of project, size of the location, the client's vision and the estimated time frame for the project to be completed.
Evaluate and analyze spatial requirements by assessing floor plans, traffic and activity flow, space functionality and accessibility, safety compliances and aesthetic goals of the project.
Develop bespoke spatial concepts that reflect the client’s needs, brand identity, and project objectives.
Prepare and deliver design proposal presentations to showcase interior spaces, furniture selections, and overall atmosphere to clients.
Liaise with clients, management, suppliers, and construction teams to develop and implement design solutions that meet project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Design and curate floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, and select furniture and décor that complement the project’s overall aesthetic.
Preparing plans and specifications and detailed technical drawings for construction.
Supervise the construction and installation of interior spaces to ensure design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines are met.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline (required).
Minimum 1 year of professional experience as an Interior Designer (preferred).
Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
