We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role you will,
Translate technical detail into language that can be understood by a wide range of interested parties using excellent written communication skills
Accomplish facilitation skills are required to enable the role holder to co-ordinate virtual and global teams in conducting Service Improvement actions, leveraging Operations tooling to effectively manage any associated risks and perform trending and progress reporting.
Consistently demonstrate analytical qualities that allow them to understand complex situations quickly, constructively, and appropriately challenge Operations decisions to ensure that we optimise service improvement actions
Require to support Global Processes on a portfolio of more than 2500 Global and Regional IT Services.
Network effectively across Global Career Bands to ensure that the service we provide is consistently comprehensive and provide regular feedback to colleagues within the team to strive for an exceptional standard service
Support the central WPB Operations with SIP (Service Improvement Plan) and Value Stream improvements in an Academy type environment
Ensure the right decisions are being made for the right reasons in a timely manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Minimum of 5 years’ Service Management experience, including decision making, communicating, reporting, risk and improvement identification, Analysis and reporting on Controls and Operational Data extracts
Knowledge of Service Management process and principles
ITIL certification
A sound understanding and working knowledge of Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, ITSA, access management, tooling, data security, DevOps and ITIL principles for efficient delivery and support
Awareness of HSBC Web, Mobile technology architecture / frameworks and Agile service management constructs
Understanding of Application Performance Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics / Splunk.
