Independent Lead Optometrist Role, Ilford, East London.
This independent practice is looking for a confident and hands on Optometrist to join their practice for four days a week with scope to increase to full time in future.
Being a smaller practice with one clinic, you will be the Lead Optometrist and expected to be a confident sole tester.
With 30 minute test times with some flexibility for pre-screening completed outside of this time, this practice offers a relaxed working environment with emphasis on higher levels of patient care instead of being volume driven.
There are also fantastic prospects to build on your clinical skills with the practice involved with MECS, medical retina and dry eye clinics.
Key Duties
• Available to work four days a week including a minimum of two Saturdays a week
• General working hours are +am - 5pm Monday - Saturday
• Equipment includes trial frames, fundus camera, and a paperless records system
• May be some requirement for domiciliary work twice a month with travel expenses covered
• Building up dry eye patient base
Package And Benefits
• Basic salary up to £55,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
• 28 days holiday including bank
