Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative technical program manager to contribute to the development of new technology products for our company. In this role, your duties will include overseeing the various stages of product development and collaborating with the software development team. You will also be responsible for the deployment and integration of new products.

To ensure success as a technical program manager, you should exhibit strong leadership skills and extensive experience in technical program management in a related industry. Top-notch technical program managers combine their business knowledge with technological expertise to promote product innovation.

Responsibilities:

· Take ownership of the overall program planning process, program schedule and initiate process improvements when identified.

· You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints

· Work with key stakeholders in business teams, product management and Tech teams to define strategy for product delivery

· Manage, align and deliver medium to large programs and portfolio of projects

· Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control

· Manage trade-offs across a portfolio of programs to ensure business objectives are met and internal obstacles are removed

· Coordinate across products and tech to identify and address cross product dependencies and help remove bottlenecks

· To accomplish this, you will be expected to have proven analytical capabilities, strong persuasive writing skills, and the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.

· An established background in building highly scalable & complex systems is a definite plus

Requirements/Skills:

· 10 years of experience in IT, project management or a related field.

· Must have solid experience working as a Software Development Engineer and should have progressed into Program Manager role

· Deep knowledge of Agile framework (User Stories, Continuous Integration,

TDD, Continuous Delivery, Pairing, Automated Testing)

· Deep knowledge of technology, software development life cycle, engineering operations, platform components & services, databases, etc

· Ability to work independently with light supervision

· Good prioritization, negotiation and communication skills

· Outstanding communication ability including clearly and concisely communicating any project issues, risks to stakeholders

· Demonstrate good attention to details, ability to think analytically and independently

· Ability to work independently with light supervision

· Decisive but inclusive decision making in a fast-paced environment

· Proficient in at least one agile project management tool: Rally, Jira, Version One, etc

· Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

Education and Experience

Relevant educational field in the same required
