POSITION: Accounts Manager
LOCATION: Papua New Guinea
MONTHLY SALARY: USD 3,000 Net (Negotiable) + Accommodation and other benefits
OVERVIEW:
A reputed Information Technology company in Papua New Guinea is looking to hire a dynamic Manager – Accounts to drive business development and manage client accounts in the ICT sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT sales and account management, along with a deep understanding of modern IT solutions. This is a client-facing role that involves regional travel and requires a candidate who is results-driven, adaptable, and a strong communicator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and grow relationships with existing and new clients
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the ICT sector
• Develop and present customized IT solutions to clients
• Achieve individual and team sales targets
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client needs are met
• Prepare reports and provide updates to senior management
• Travel within Papua New Guinea and other Pacific countries as required
PRE-REQUISITES:
• Proven experience in ICT sales, account management, or business development.
• Strong understanding of IT solutions, cloud computing, and/or telecommunications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and drive consistent revenue growth.
• Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
• Willing to travel within PNG and other Pacific countries as and when required.
• Candidate must possess Sri Lankan or Indian nationality.
