Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Infrastructure Architect to join our team. This role is located in Decatur, Georgia, and will play a key role in managing and updating our current on-prem infrastructure, as well as planning and executing a migration to an Azure estate. The successful candidate will also be involved in setting up a new security team and providing support and guidance for our DevSecOps team.
Responsibilities
• Lead the technical aspects of our infrastructure, ensuring it remains up-to-date and operates effectively
• Guide the migration of our on-prem infrastructure to an Azure estate
• Collaborate closely with the help desk manager to address IT issues and improve our systems
• Play a key role in establishing a new security team and integrating security measures into our infrastructure
• Provide support and guidance for our DevSecOps team, ensuring accountability and effective practices
• Utilize your expertise in areas such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Cisco Technologies, AB Testing, AWS Technologies, and IT Security to improve our infrastructure
• Assist in training entry level team members, helping to develop their skills and knowledge
• Contribute to IT strategy and infrastructure planning, ensuring our systems align with our overall goals
• Manage customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.
Requirements
• Position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture or a related field.
• Must possess expert knowledge in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Cisco ASA, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies.
• Proficiency in AB Testing, AWS Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Connectivity is essential.
• Familiarity with Routers, IP - Internet Protocol, Infrastructure Planning, and Infrastructure Management is required.
• Expertise in Design Architecture, IT Operations, IT Strategy, and IT Security is necessary.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are paramount.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
• Must have an understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Certification in relevant technologies or project management is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
