Job Description
This senior leadership role is responsible for the strategy, design, and operation of enterprise infrastructure across a complex, regulated environment. The position leads cloud infrastructure, endpoint engineering, and help desk functions—ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and highly available while supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term transformation.
Operating at the intersection of execution and strategy, this role partners closely with senior leadership to enable business growth through reliable, modern technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure
• Lead multi-cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure) across networking, compute, and storage
• Establish architecture standards, scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization practices
• Oversee capacity planning, performance, and disaster recovery
• Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code adoption
Infrastructure Operations
• Ensure system stability, uptime, and performance across all platforms
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
• Define and track KPIs (availability, response times, user satisfaction)
• Deliver infrastructure projects aligned to business priorities
End User Services
• Own endpoint strategy (device lifecycle, patching, security)
• Oversee help desk performance and user support experience
• Standardize support processes and improve service delivery
• Manage collaboration tools and voice platforms
Strategy & Transformation
• Define and execute infrastructure roadmap aligned to business goals
• Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
• Reduce technical debt and improve platform resilience
• Partner cross-functionally across security, engineering, and business teams
Security & Compliance
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain strong controls across patching, access, and vulnerability management
Vendor & Financial Management
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs
• Own infrastructure budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
Qualifications
• 7+ years of infrastructure leadership experience
• Strong background in AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments
• Experience leading cross-functional infrastructure teams
• Deep knowledge of networking, servers, and storage
• Experience in regulated environments preferred
