Job Description
Are you working in the construction industry and ready for a change? Looking to adapt your skills to something new? Tired of being on the same jobsite for months on end?
Dryspace Solutions are experts in repairing leaking basements and below-ground areas, working on a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, civil and infrastructure. However, most of our projects involve installing specialist remediation systems to existing homes.
We're building our team of installers for projects locally in South-East QLD and for projects in other states. These projects typically take 1-2 weeks to complete, and applicants must be able to 'work away' as needed. We often work long days, and the work is physical. Being flexible with your start and finish times is a must.
Our ideal team member has good general building knowledge and 'hands on' experience, but most important is a positive attitude and willingness to learn. A 'Jack of all Trades' or a 'Waterproofer' looking to transfer their skills would be a fantastic fit for this role!
This role will commence on Monday 20th April 2026. Full training will be provided for the right applicant!
We are looking for someone that has the following attributes:
A commitment to delivering five-star results and service.
A positive attitude and is happy working as part of a team.
Reliable and disciplined in their work.
A desire and willingness to learn and increase knowledge.
Genuine interest in helping people by solving problems.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Enjoys variety in their work – we're on a different project usually every 1-2 weeks.
Experience with below-ground waterproofing systems is advantageous.
Working with the installation team your responsibilities will include:
Demolition and preparation of existing structures including cutting, jackhammering and grinding.
Installation of remedial basement cavity drain systems.
Application of water stoppage systems including high pressure injection, grouts and negative hydrostatic coatings.
Reinstatement of internal fitouts to the repaired areas.
Completing site administrative tasks as required.
Communicating with customers and peers to ensure successful delivery of the project.
Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements.
Personal Requirements
Minimum three years' experience 'on the tools' in a residential construction environment.
Experience specifically in waterproofing or insurance repair is advantageous.
Ability to read and follow plans and project instructions.
Candidates must be available for monthly interstate travel for project work.
Must have flexible start and finish times. We operate onsite between the hours of 6am and 6pm depending on requirements.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Manual Drivers' licence and reliable transport.
Construction White Card.
Must be physically fit.
Must be a Permanent Australian Resident.
Benefits
Great variety in work and project locations.
Generous remuneration package, with bonuses – well above award wages.
Continual professional development and training.
Positive team environment.
