Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the standards, design and development guidelines and guardrails of the integration components (APIs, publishers, Subscribers, Batch Jobs etc)
Involve at early stage of the project, provides High level Integration Architecture (HLIA), solution designing and effort estimation
Ability to design and architect integration solutions to support Event driven Architecture (EDA) , and educate the organization on the benefits of EDA and seek opportunities to implement EDA solutions
Impact analysis skills to mitigate the risks while designing or implementing the solution
Engagement with Business people, project manager and other stakeholders (Solution architect, Support (Reliability and Functional) teams, Data science, Cloud Platform, Cloud Ops and more to understand the functional, non-functional and performance related requirements and map those requirements to the technical integration requirements with assurance that requirements were understood properly and have not missed important/critical aspects which may impact the delivery at later stages.
Focus on more consumption of existing assets to reduce project cost and risk
Coordinates with Integration Developers and testers to deliver new functionality or update existing functionality
Continuous engagement with the developers throughout the project life cycle, provide technical oversight throughout the API lifecycle from initial API design to deprecation/retirement
Analyse the complex issues arise during development and provide the best-fit solution to accommodate the changes
Manage and distribute the time among multiple initiatives/projects
Approves prospective consumption requests and works with individual API consumers to ensure that requirements are met for using the API.
Build Integration Proofs of Concept (PoC’s) and respond to functional & technical elements of the ISA and ISD independently and effectively in context of integration
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 08 years of integration experience primarily with AWS and MuleSoft.
Experience in building messaging integration applications using message brokers to provide benefits of persistency, reliability and developed error handling frameworks
Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools as Maven, Jenkins, AWS Cloud pipelines , Artifactory and ability to use them as part of the delivery lifecycle of integration applications.
Experience working with MuleSoft Any point Platform suite of products, including Runtime engine, Cloud Hub and API Manager
Experience working with AWS integration suite of products like App Synch, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Step functions, lambdas (node js, Python), ECS
Design APIs (REST and Asynch) using RAML or Open API specs including security and governance model around those API
Experience working in Agile Teams including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
