Job Description The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • 6+ years' experience in database administration, operations and production support • Experience in database and application performance tuning • Strong experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) • Exp. in implementing Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (OEM). • Exp. in upgrading database Software and Databases using OEM • Experience in Monitoring, Back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades • Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management • Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL • Sound knowledge on Golden Gate is an added advantage • Ability to document solutions and train operational teams • Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus • Experience with automation, Ansible, Python is a plus • Experience in Sybase, Cloud Control, SQL Server, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop is a plus Desirable Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality • Ability to organize and plan work independently • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment • Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams • Experience in financial domain is a major plus • Certifications in this area is plus.
