Job Summary: The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and furnishing interior spaces in both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to create functional yet aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the clients" needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
Develop design concepts and present them to clients using mood boards, sketches, and digital presentations.
Select materials, furniture, decor, and finishes that align with the design concept and budget.
Project Management:
Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
Prepare and manage project timelines, ensuring all design elements are delivered on schedule.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Client Interaction:
Conduct client meetings to gather requirements, present designs, and obtain feedback.
Provide expert advice on design modifications and improvements based on client needs and preferences.
Budget Management:
Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct site visits to ensure design specifications are being followed and provide on-site guidance as needed.
Review completed work to ensure it meets the company's standards and client expectations.
