Location: Hyderabad & Delhi
Key Responsibilities:
1. Individual Contribution:
• Design Development: Work under the supervision of senior designers to review client briefs, prepare initial layouts, and zoning plans. Develop detailed designs and documentation based on concept designs and design intent.
• Site Audit: Conduct site audits as part of the technical due diligence process, focusing on architectural details and understanding the impact of MEP design requirements on cost and design.
• Material Knowledge: Stay informed about materials and products used in interior workspace fit-outs. Research and evaluate new products and solutions that enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Project Participation: Contribute to pitches, concept development, and design presentations. Assist in quantification for Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Software Proficiency: Be proficient in essential software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Google Workspace, and Procore. Knowledge of additional tools like Photoshop, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, or InDesign is a plus.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, helping them improve their technical skills and knowledge.
2. Attitude and Professionalism:
• Positive Attitude: Exhibit a positive attitude with a strong inclination to learn and grow.
• Ownership: Take full responsibility for all deliverables, including those from junior designers. Ensure punctuality and plan daily activities effectively.
• Initiative: Continuously upskill by learning new tools and techniques. Take initiative in project-related tasks and participate in pitches and client interactions.
• Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of honesty and work ethics. Act as a positive role model and uphold the organization's credibility.
3. Stakeholder Interaction:
• Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including MEP, BIM, and Cost teams, to gather and understand project requirements. Facilitate effective communication between design and other technical teams.
• External Coordination: Engage with external stakeholders such as vendors and clients, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings alongside senior team members to understand client needs and expectations. Work on improving communication skills to enhance client engagement.
4. Studio and Team Management:
• Collaborative Approach: Foster a collaborative environment within the team. Regularly engage with senior designers and subject matter experts to enhance knowledge and improve team performance.
• Quality Control: Ensure high-quality deliverables by monitoring and reviewing the work of junior designers. Collaborate with senior team members to implement measures that enhance productivity and quality.
5. Organizational Development:
• Vision Alignment: Understand and align with the organization's vision. Represent Adrianse with the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in and contribute to company-led initiatives, including software development, process improvement, and communication protocols.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a reputed institution.
• Experience: 4-8 years of experience in corporate interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software. Knowledge of 3D rendering tools like Rhino or SketchUp is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
