We are currently looking for an Interior Designer to join a well-established architectural, interior design, and landscape architectural firm on the NSW Illawarra region. The ideal candidate will be design-driven and have a pragmatic approach to commercial interior design, balancing creativity with practicality.
Position Overview: The role, based in Wollongong, offers a full-time opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of architects, interior designers, and landscape architects. This position will provide exposure to diverse projects, offering strong growth potential for a dedicated and talented designer.
Responsibilities:
Develop intelligent interior design concepts based on client briefs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate interior design seamlessly into overall projects.
Research materials and finishes that meet project requirements and budgets.
Prepare detailed interior design documentation and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Interior Design.
Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate Revit experience.
Experience across residential and commercial sectors.
Valid Australian driver’s license and personal transport.
The ideal candidate has a strong design sensibility, with a keen eye for color and texture, delivering innovative design solutions. They possess excellent communication skills for presenting concepts clearly and effectively. Proficiency in Revit drafting and a solid understanding of Australian construction methods are essential.
