As an interior designer, you'll transform spaces to enhance quality of life and culture. You will work on residential, commercial, or specialized projects, turning concepts into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to execute projects on time and meet design standards.
Understand client needs, preferences, and functional requirements to create detailed design concepts.
Analyze and optimize interior layouts for efficient use of space.
Oversee projects from concept to final installation, managing timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
Develop mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts.
Source furniture, materials, fixtures, and accessories while considering the client's budget and needs.
Evaluate designs against local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
Liaise with vendors, manufacturers, and contractors to source materials and supervise installations.
Present design ideas and receive feedback, making necessary revisions.
Develop and maintain project budgets, monitoring costs and suggesting alternatives.
Solve design challenges and ensure final installations meet specifications.
