We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer – Lighting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for recommending, designing, and coordinating lighting solutions for clients. You will work closely with customers, architects, and project managers to ensure optimal lighting design that enhances aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their lighting requirements, design preferences, and space constraints.
Develop and present lighting design concepts, mood boards, and layouts.
Recommend appropriate lighting products based on project needs, aesthetics, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly.
Create custom lighting designs, including fixture selection, placement, and specifications.
Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and electrical layouts.
Ensure designs align with industry standards, energy efficiency guidelines, and safety regulations.
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in lighting design.
Conduct site visits and provide support during installation to ensure design accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in lighting design or interior design with a focus on lighting.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Dialux, Revit, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, controls, and technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask, manage projects, and work within deadlines.
