Job Description
A design-led studio is hiring an Interior Designer to support residential and select commercial interior projects, with a strong focus on working drawings, schedules, and execution support. The role involves working closely with the lead designer on live projects, primarily residential interiors, with limited site exposure as required.
Project Exposure
You will work on:
• Residential interior projects
• Small commercial interiors such as retail and office spaces
• Projects involving furniture detailing and interior execution coordination
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed interior working drawings, layouts, and execution drawings.
• Develop moodboards for finishes, furniture, and interior elements.
• Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create basic 3D models using SketchUp for internal coordination.
• Support revisions based on design development and feedback.
• Coordinate with the lead designer on drawing outputs and execution intent.
• Participate in site visits when required to support execution understanding.
• Maintain organised documentation of drawings and project files.
Requirements
• Educational background in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 1-2 years of Industry experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Understanding of interior working drawings and execution detailing.
• Familiarity with residential interior materials and finishes.
• Ability to manage multiple small-scale projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work from office and support site coordination when required.
Work Schedule
• Location: Lado Sarai, Delhi
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (10 am to 6 pm)
