Grapevine Designs specializes in helping residential homeowners during new build construction or renovation projects. We offer the expertise of larger interior design firms, but with the personal touch of a boutique operation. We have been in business for over 20 years and have strong relationships with clients, trades, and our team! Relationship and integrity are the cornerstone of our business along with functional and beautiful design. We are looking for a designer who can collaborate with and lead other team members.
Responsibilities
Manage the design process from concept development to project completion.
Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure the design intent is delivered.
Material sourcing and specification, visual research, furniture sourcing, and graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines for multiple projects.
Act as a point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining clear communication throughout the project's lifecycle.
Collaborate with trades and contractors to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of high-quality work.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in interiors or architecture.
Passion for design and an eye for detail.
Strong knowledge of the entire design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Procurement, and Installation.
High proficiency in AutoCad and Google Suite. 3D visualization abilities are highly valued.
Basic Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
Excellent initiative, communication skills, and a willingness to work in a supportive team environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Can speak and write in clear English.
Has a car and ability to attend site meetings, and go to showrooms for sourcing.
