Key Responsibilities:
• Working Drawings & GFC Drawings: Prepare accurate, high-quality drawings, including detailed working and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Design Development & Conceptualization: Assist in the creation and development of design concepts, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
• Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with seniors, project supervisors, and clients to incorporate feedback and adapt designs as necessary.
• Vendor & Client Management: Support in managing vendor relationships, procurement, and client interactions to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
• Multi-tasking Across Projects: Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and adapting to evolving requirements.
• Research & Innovation: Conduct design research and stay current with industry trends to bring fresh ideas to each project.
• General Support: Assist in procurement processes and offer administrative support where necessary.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel (minimum), with additional knowledge of 3D design software and Photoshop being a strong advantage.
• Design Expertise: Experience with architectural and interior design drawings, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
• Strong Design Sense: A keen eye for design with the ability to translate concepts into technical drawings and presentations.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working on multiple tasks and adjusting to changing project needs and client feedback.
• Self-Motivation: Able to work independently, manage your time effectively, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Experience in Vendor & Client Relations: Some background in managing relationships with vendors and assisting with client-facing tasks is preferred.
