Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
Teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French through interactive activities and assessments.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students' understanding of the French-speaking world.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.
Skills
Proficiency in the French language (both written and spoken) is essential.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts to students of varying levels.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
Patience and adaptability in addressing the diverse needs of students.
Familiarity with educational technology tools for language learning is a plus.
