What you'll do
Elevate Your Pharmacy Career with a Dynamic Internship at Woolworths Pharmacy! Step into a challenging and rewarding environment where you'll gain practical experience in all facets of pharmacy practice.
At Woolworths Pharmacy, you'll master prescription dispensing, provide crucial medication counselling, and deliver essential health advice to diverse patient populations across New Zealand: Auckland, Tauranga, Hastings, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.
Our comprehensive dedicated Intern Program provides structured learning, expert preceptor mentorship, and valuable professional development opportunities, including fortnightly role-plays and an annual training conference. This internship is your foundation for a successful and impactful career in pharmacy.
What you'll bring
You'll be on the way to completing Bachelor degree from a New Zealand or Australian University (If you're an Australian graduate, your pharmacy degree must be approved by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)) by end of 2026, or are an overseas complete Pharmacy qualification, KAPS and completed legislation course.
You will also have:
Ability to undertake intern year in Dec 2026 for 12 months
The right to work in New Zealand
Retail Pharmacy experience advantageous
Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service
Dedicated work ethic
Eye for detail and accuracy
Flexibility in employment location following the internship
