Job Description
Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for a dedicated and motivated individual with strong research and analytics skills to develop industry thematic studies for investment banking clients. The role will be based in Gurgaon and be an integral part of our investment banking offering.
Responsibilities
· Expertise and experience in structuring and developing high quality outputs in the following areas:
1. Industry Primers and reports
2. Industry Thematics and presentation
3. Short industry / sector overviews
4. Industry teasers, thought leadership pieces
5. Origination support and market studies
· Cross-sector project work and exposure i.e. Telecom, Power, Technology, Infrastructure, Industrials etc.
· Analysing industry landscape, competition, key trends/ drivers, regulations etc. with thorough research
· Exhaustive secondary research (through databases, general secondary sources, journals, annual reports, company websites, government and ministry websites).
· Industry screening and benchmarking companies on various financial and operating parameters to analyze the competitive positioning
· Delivering high-end analysis and visually impactful reports to various investment banks
· Ability to carry out expert interviews to supplement secondary research
· Market and competitive intelligence
· Leading project teams on multiple project teams, performing quality checks and project leadership
Required Background
· MBA (Finance) / Chartered Accountant with 6-10 years of relevant experience in Investment banking space
· Excellent communication skills, ability to engage stakeholders in meaning discussion on the outlook and current themes
· Exposure of managing client engagements and project life cycles
· Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
· Strong fundamentals on core sectors, conversant with latest industry themes
· Understanding of Databases and sector specific data sources
