Within a short span of 5 years, PDG has built a portfolio of 20 data center assets with 10 in operation and 10 in development across Asia Pacific in 5 countries and 14 cities. We currently have operations in key Asian markets – Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, and Japan.
We are looking for a business-minded Investment Manager/Sr. Investment Manager who will enable decision making for PDG India across projects, capex, customer pricing and investments through financial modelling, research, and potential due diligence across finance, tax and legal matters. The candidate will simultaneously work on set of specific projects as well as be involved in continuous day to day organisation activities.
Reporting: MD, India
Role and Responsibilities
• Lead/work independently in deal evaluation and execution
• Prepare financial models for business case, capex decisions, customer pricings and potential investment decisions
• Conduct due diligence (including financial, commercial, and operational), manage relevant consultants who are doing the due diligence, conduct macro-economic analysis and secondary research
• Manage legal documentation for investments, vendor, and customer contracts including limited contract negotiations
• Work with other teams across the organization on value creation initiatives
• Integral member of team supporting the annual budget planning exercise
• Conduct relevant analysis for business decision making
Requirements:
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in related finance areas including corporate finance, preferably in corporate finance advisory, Big 4, Private Equity firms
• Experience in managing financial transactions, preferably in real-estate area
• Good financial modelling skills are required
• Fundamental understanding of economics, markets, financial statements, accounting, and valuation concepts
• Some basic understanding of contract and/or corporate laws would be an edge
• Resourceful with strong ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
• Excellent tertiary qualifications. CFA is a plus
• Ability to multi-task; work in fast-paced environment; some long hours and travels are required
• Attention to details, strong analytical skills and ability to solve problem, work well under pressure and ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues in team-based environment
