IoT Architect – L3 Support
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract - W2 Only
We are looking for a highly skilled IoT Architect (L3) with strong Industrial Automation & IIoT experience to support critical OT environments and large‑scale manufacturing operations.

Role Highlights:
• Hands‑on work across PLC, SCADA, HMI & IIoT platforms
• Deep exposure to IT‑OT integrations & MES environments
• Hybrid work model with enterprise‑scale industrial systems

Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate industrial devices, machines & equipment with MES for real‑time data collection
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation & efficiency improvements
• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for PLC / SCADA / HMI systems
• Enable automation of manual processes using PLCs & controllers for IIoT applications
• Act as Incident Owner for escalated OT / infrastructure issues
• Coordinate with OEMs & third‑party vendors for issue resolution
• Perform device health checks, firmware & driver management
• Maintain service documentation and execute scheduled maintenance
Required Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA & OPC UA
• Industrial protocols: IEC60870‑5‑101/104, DNP3, MODBUS, OPC
• Networking: DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Gateways, Routers
• IoT protocols: MQTT, CoAP, AMQP
• IT‑OT integration tools: Kepware, Ignition
• Expertise in IIoT platforms (monitoring, productivity, anomaly detection, utilization)
• Understanding of OT Service Management & Incident Management processes
