Full job description
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IoT hardware developer to design, prototype, and assemble smart IoT devices based on ESP32 or similar microcontrollers. The candidate should have experience with circuit design, and working with relay modules, power management, and sensors.
Responsibilities:
Design and assemble IoT devices similar to the attached reference (involving ESP32, relays, voltage converters, and sensor modules).
Create PCB layouts and integrate components including:
ESP32 or equivalent
HLK-PM01 AC-DC converter
Mechanical/electromechanical relays (e.g., HFS41F, Songle)
DHT/SHT or other sensor modules (I2C/SPI)
Terminal blocks and connectors for AC/DC interfacing
Program the microcontroller for Wi-Fi connectivity and sensor control.
Test and debug hardware and firmware to ensure reliable operation.
Optimize the design for compactness, safety, and production readiness.
Requirements:
Proven experience in IoT prototyping and small-batch hardware builds.
Familiarity with PCB design tools (KiCad, Eagle, etc.).
Understanding of AC-DC power conversion and relay control.
Ability to work with basic soldering, wiring, and hardware assembly.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MQTT, Blynk, or other IoT platforms.
