SUMMARY
The objective of this document is to provide a summary of the job description for an candidate intending to work within the role of "Investor Relations & Financial Analyst"
JOB DESCRIPTION
To be working directly with the Founders and the Company Leadership, in the Company’s fund-raise activities. REPORTING Co-Founder & CEO, with a dotted line reporting to the COO.
YOUR JOB WILL INCLUDE
1. Financial Modeling.
a. Building the financial model (MS Excel or Google Sheets) as per the business plan of the company, with the necessary assumptions, projections and ratios, so as to provide a prospective investor with a detailed understanding of the Company’s past and projected financial performance.
2. Financial Analysis.
a. Reviewing the Company’s past performance, costs and other variables to accurately analyse past performance.
b. Understanding the Company’s future plans, business trends and strategic plans to represent them through numbers within the financial model.
c. Evaluating business metrics, and competitive benchmarks to apply relevant assumptions.
3. Investor Relations.
a. Liaise with prospective investors for the Company’s fundraising initiatives.
b. Work closely with the company leadership and internal departments to manage the due diligence process, related to fundraising.
EXPECTATIONS
1. The candidate must have a CFA (Level 1) minimum qualification.
2. The candidate must have worked at a venture capital or related industry for a minimum period of 18 months (in the recent past 3 years).
3. The candidate must have prior experience in creating financial models.
4. Additional qualifications such as CA may be considered.
5. The candidate must commit to 18 months of employment (minimum) with the company.
6. The candidate must commit to working from the office (Andheri West, Mumbai), on a Monday to Saturday schedule, with Saturdays being considered Work-From-Home, on a daily schedule of +:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
