The Opportunity
At Goodman Fielder, we're transforming the way we do business-and we're looking for a sharp, proactive Business Analyst to join our Auckland team.
This 12-month fixed-term role will see you partner with business stakeholders across the organisation to document current and future state processes and contribute to the successful delivery of scalable, value-driven solutions.
Your work will directly support transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, innovation, and customer experience across our iconic brands.
With a hybrid working model and occasional travel to engage key stakeholders, this is a unique opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
Engage with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements
Map "as-is" processes and design "to-be" solutions aligned to project outcomes
Support business case development and contribute to feasibility assessments
Collaborate with IT and project teams to validate and deliver solutions
Assist with UAT planning and execution to ensure successful rollout
About You
You're a natural problem-solver with a passion for translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions. You enjoy working across departments, asking the right questions, and bringing clarity to complexity.
You'll bring:
Experience delivering across small to large-scale business or IT initiatives
Strong skills in business process mapping, analysis, and stakeholder engagement
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Knowledge of business systems, data environments, and enterprise infrastructure
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical teams
Knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain processes, or familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), would be a strong advantage
