Job Description
• Define the IT architecture roadmap and landscape in alignment with the bank's business strategy.
• Lead system architecture initiatives by providing architecture runways, solution blueprints, and managing architecture standards and guidelines.
• Support architecture governance to manage architecture debts and ensure compliance with architecture standards.
• Drive proof of concepts for new technologies and tools to support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the bank's IT architecture strategy.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risks effectively.
• Establish data policies and standards to align with business objectives and technological capabilities.
• Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
• Manage the entire data lifecycle, from creation to archiving and deletion.
• Utilize Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Trino, Apache Ranger, Apache Spark, and S3 to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.
The Successful Applicant
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise systems in the banking domain, preferably in private banking or wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies and enterprise technologies like Java EE, Spring Boot, and databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with integration technologies (IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus) and event streaming platforms (Apache Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud applications and DevOps principles.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and coach team members.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain designs and solutions to both developers and business users.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and implementing machine learning-based solutions.
