Our Joint Command Support Environment (JCSE) is a complex system of systems used to plan, monitor, and conduct military campaigns, operations, joint exercises, and other activities to meet Australia's national objectives. As a Desktop and Server Administration Professional, you will be part of a team that ensures critical information reaches the right people at the right time, directly impacting ground operations.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for account management, performance tuning, software installation, storage management, server maintenance, monitoring, documentation, liaison, and project management. This position requires occasional on-call and weekend work, with core hours consisting of three rolling shifts between 0600-1800hrs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have ITIL Foundation v3 certification, expertise in VMware management suite and SharePoint, and experience in server, desktop, and Active Directory administration in a medium-to-large scale environment.
