Designation : Project Manager – Converged Operations & Automation
Will report to : Lead, Converged Operations & Automation
Experience : 10 to 15 years of experience in IT services & Operations with at least 4 to 5 years of experience in driving infra or apps projects
Role Purpose: Should demonstrate strong Project management skills, Communication skills, good knowledge in Infrastructure fundamentals such as Hardware, OS Shells, Network, Storage, RDBMS, IP Addressing Switching & Routing, DHCP, DNS. Fair understanding of ERP applications, solutions, working & integration to IT systems, able to work under pressure
"Key Deliverables:
1. Converged Operations:
? Drive Account Delivery Digital ITOPS Transformation & Governance
? Drive Converged Operations process Awareness and its implementation.
? Drive Due diligence and assessment of customer operations/ environment.
? Effort estimation and solution design
? End to end ownership of building implementation plan.
? Effort estimation and Solution development.
? Map activities for each of the Converged Operation Functions (Availability Mgmt., Request Mgmt., Incident Mgmt. etc.)
? Establish Governance with Customer at all levels.
? Prepare plan of action for different phases of Transition - Pre-Planning, Planning, Shadow, Reverse Shadow, Go live.
? Drive teams to manage KT sessions, Shadow Sessions, Reverse Shadow sessions.
? Identify the required cross skills and drive cross skill training to fill the gaps for Converged Operations
? Work with customer to define and agree on gating criteria at each stage of transition.
? Establish good connect with all the team members / Leadership team / Delivery team and with Customer at various levels.
? Work with SME and Customer to drive the Role Based Access control implementation.
? Work with all stake holders to review risks and plan for mitigation on open risk / issues.
? Overall ownership of end-to-end Transition - till operations go live and establish stabilization.
Automation:
? Drive Automation initiative within CIS delivery Units and ensure account teams achieve their yearly automation targets.
? Build Service Catalog & Perform Ticket analysis to identify automation opportunities.
? Efforts estimation & effort savings calculation for the automation opportunities
? Collaborate with Central Automation team to ensure Bots are developed & deployed on time in the respective accounts.
? Tracking training requirements - upskill & reskill for CIS.
? Work with all stake holders to review risks and plan for mitigation on open risk / issues.
? Conduct periodic governance meeting with stakeholders.
? Drive Automation initiative within Accounts leveraging Agile/SDLC framework.
? Develop & Implement process & principles to collate, build insights, report & govern KPI’s and metrics related to Account Automation Transformation group.
? Continuously evaluate Accounts/Vertical’s/Service lines to ensure they are meeting KPI’s and meeting deadlines, collaboration with Task force team and Delivery/ Practice leads"

Ø Project management: Plan, Execute, Closure, Risks, and Management: Level 4
Ø People management: Collaboration & Relationship mgmt.: Level 4
Ø Governance: MIS Reports, Reviews, Escalation Mgmt: Level 4
