Job Summary
The IT Recovery Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's critical applications and infrastructure are protected and recoverable in the event of a disaster.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical systems, processes, and data to prioritize for recovery.
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and define recovery objectives.
• Create detailed recovery procedures, including step-by-step instructions, resource requirements, and clear recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
• Document recovery plans, including contact lists, communication protocols, and escalation procedures.
• Ensure plans are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated to key stakeholders.
• Implement automation for disaster recovery drills and exercises using Perpetuuiti Continuity Patrol and Ansible Tower.
• Develop and maintain scripts and playbooks to automate testing, monitoring, and validation of disaster recovery processes.
Requirements:
• BE/B.TECH/BCA/MCA in IT or related fields.
• 7-8 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 4-5 years focused on IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Strong expertise in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, with a focus on automation using tools like Perpetuuiti Continuity Patrol and Ansible Tower.
• Hands-on experience with application platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, OHS.
• Database expertise in Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL.
• Proficiency in business analysis, technical documentation, and risk management.
