Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Software Engineer with a strong background in test automation and API testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop automation code for CI/CD pipelines across systems and infrastructure
Design and maintain API test automation frameworks
Lead and mentor QA/test engineers (onshore and offshore)
Collaborate with product owners on enhancements and issue resolution
Create automated test scripts using Java, Karate, JMeter
Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed
Ensure best practices in testing methodologies and standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree + 10+ years of experience
Strong expertise in:
Java (3–5 years)
Cucumber or other BDD frameworks (JBehave, etc.)
8+ years in test automation framework design
Strong experience with REST API testing
SQL/database query experience
3+ years with JMeter (performance testing)
Experience in:
Full-stack and integration testing
End-to-end system testing
Preferred Skills:
Python experience
AWS Cloud exposure
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
DevOps practices
API gateways (e.g., Apigee)
Agile methodology experience (2+ years)
Microservices architecture knowledge
Performance/load testing expertise
Strong documentation practices
