Candidate will join the Bangalore Center of Excellence (COE). You will work collaboratively as a senior member of the Business Intelligence (BI) & Reporting team under the direction of Itron IT Leadership, in a multinational, multicultural context. your role will cover requirement gathering, architecting, design, development responsibilities for the Itron BI, data warehousing, reporting systems and applications.
You should have significant and proven experiences and successes in above responsibilities and areas. The role will also include leadership responsibility in architecture and technology choices, improvement, and expansion.
Exemplary behavior and excellent communication with peers, hierarchy and our business partners will be key to meeting agreed objectives.

Highlights
Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience.
High tech international industry, large-scale data warehousing experience, and exposure to common enterprise business processes and supporting applications.
Strong cross functional collaboration and communication appetence.
Business Process Skillset
Role
In his role candidate must understand (if not master) key Business Functions and Processes, as well as ideally Itron supporting Applications associated with them, from Business Opportunities to transformation into Revenue/Margin for the company
• Sales: Salesforce
• Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain: Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud VCP, ESSBASE
Technical Skillset
Mandatory: Azure Data factory, Mpower Bi, Sign off
Extensive experience (5+ years) with relational databases especially Oracle, Essbase, Microsoft SQL
• Extensive Data Modeling and Architecture experience (5+)
• Experience in setting up complex ETL processes involving relational and non-relational data using Microsoft SSIS or Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF) (5+)
• Reporting and model designing using Microsoft PowerBI (all ecosystem: Desktop, Services, Gateway), Excel Pivot Table, Visual Studio, Tabular Editor (5+)
• Azure components: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Analysis Services, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake (5+)
• Development Process expertise
• Project Management
• Agile: Azure Dev Op
• Source Control management: TFS, Gits
• Change Management
• Quality Assurance
Soft skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, problem solving, organizational and writing skills, to engage with any Itron Departments and roles. This obviously requires English proficiency.
• Ability to lead cross-functional team communication and develop cross-functional partnerships.
• Should be well versed with requirements gathering, business stakeholder alignment, data analysis and validated phases of a project.
• Should be a very good team player with a go getter attitude, result, and quality driven, adaptable, organized then inspirational.
• Experience managing/leading/coaching a team.
• Understanding of best standards, guidelines etc. and cares about adhering them
• Ability to handle complex problems from design to execution and deliver in time bound manner under constraints.
• Consulting background would be preferred.
