Summary:
Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) maximizes the success of customers with their SAP solutions in managed, private, and public cloud area. Cloud Application Services is part of the ECS organization and helps customers to accelerate their Innovation adoption, delivering the flexibility to adapt to business changes, rapidly implement technologies and standardize and optimize operations of SAP centric solutions. The SAP CAS organization is focusing on managed service delivery across the SAP product portfolio for applications, managed security and testing.
The Cloud Application Services unit is responsible for running SAP’s applications that helps our customers with their business transformation and business continuity.
The Role:
• Act as an Individual contributor & lead consultant for Single or Multiple projects for multiple customers across the globe
• Apply the subject matter expertise on critical issues/change requests & act as a de-escalation point to help resolve them in the given SLA
• Support global customers on AMS & development assignments in the various areas of BTP such as BTP Administration, BTP monitoring
• Responsible for leading, mentoring and training the other team members in the various areas of BTP so as to build a strong competency within the delivery center
• Participate in ideation for identification of potential areas of efficiency enhancement and implement automation in service delivery processes
• Applying the knowledge of latest technologies and trends, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills to suggest continuous improvement
• Develop tools & accelerators to build service excellency for our current and new customers
Roles and Responsibilities:
• The candidate should have -10-12 years of experience in the areas of full stack application development across different technologies such as Java, NodeJS, SAP UI5, Hana...etc.
• Strong knowledge of development skills in BTP; BTP services like workflow management, Hana cloud, XSUAA, Document Service etc
• Should be familiar with CAP/RAP for application development in BTP.
• Have experience in Cloud Foundry or Neo environment
• Experience in developing applications with microservices architecture.
• You should have strong knowledge on BTP security aspects such as SSO, Oauth, OpenId...etc.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and configuring applications on Cloud Foundry using SAP CAPM Experience creating and configuring launch pad sites using BTP portal service/Launchpad Service/WorkZone
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Graduate in Engineering / Computer science / Information systems
