Java + AWS Developer – Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud .
• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka and Amazon Kinesis .
• Design and build RESTful APIs using RAML or Swagger .
• Integrate services with AWS native components like API Gateway , S3 , and EC2 .
• Collaborate on low-level design and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Build integrations with MariaDB , MySQL , and MongoDB .
• Participate in Docker-based deployments and containerization strategies.
• Conduct unit testing and component integration testing .
• Use Git , Bitbucket , or GitLab for source control and versioning.
• Ensure code quality and security compliance using SonarQube and Checkmarx .

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3.
