We are Huxley, a leading Financial Technology Company seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-remote position that requires expertise in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain platform components, RESTful APIs, Pub/Sub systems, and database clients using Java/Spring or other technologies with similar capabilities.
• Develop microservices and event-driven architectures to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles to optimize system efficiency and concurrency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and distributed caches for improved data management and storage.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a senior engineer position.
• A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and distributed computing concepts.
• Experience with Java/Spring or other preferred technologies, as well as familiarity with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and distributed caches.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient solutions under tight deadlines.
