Job Description
The selected candidate's day to day responsibilities would be:-
• Develop and update Google Chrome Extensions
• Create installation files and deployment of Google Chrome Extension
• Write well-formed, well-commented code with an advanced understanding of a browser work scheme
• Work with native modules as and when required
• Use Native APIs for tight integrations.
• Write automated tests to ensure error-free code and performance.
• Improve front-end performance by eliminating performance bottlenecks.
• Create front-end modules with maximum code reusability and efficiency.
• Implement clean, smooth animations to provide an excellent user interface
• Work with third-party dependencies and APIs
Minimum requirements
• 1+ years of experience in Google Chrome Extension development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Expert understanding of Google Chrome APIs
• Experience with Chrome Web Store and understanding of internal enterprise apps
• Experience in deploying Google Chrome Extensions
• Understanding of JS tech stack, including jQuery and jQuery UI, Ajax, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web User Interface Design (UI), etc.
