MYP Teacher: English, Math, Business Management and Hindi
Position Summary:
The MYP Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based instruction aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme framework for students aged 11 to 16. The teacher fosters international-mindedness, academic excellence, and personal growth through the development of students' conceptual understanding, skills, and attitudes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, teach, and assess subject-specific lessons following the IB MYP framework.
- Develop units of inquiry using MYP unit planner formats.
- Integrate Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills and IB Learner Profile attributes into daily teaching.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Participate in collaborative planning with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage in professional development related to IB philosophy and pedagogy.
- Support students in the MYP personal project (if applicable).
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and the school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR PG in relevant subject areas
- Valid teaching certification.
- Experience teaching in the IB MYP and strong familiarity with the program.
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
