Job Title: Jewellery Cashier
Location: Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur
Reporting To: Store Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a trustworthy and detail-oriented Jewellery Cashier to manage transactions in our showroom. The ideal candidate will handle billing, ensure the accuracy of cash and card payments, and maintain strong customer service, especially while dealing with high-value transactions in a luxury retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all billing and payment transactions through the POS system.
Ensure accuracy in weighing, tagging, and pricing of jewellery items during checkout.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct.
Handle cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and bank transfers with accuracy.
Maintain daily sales and cash reports.
Verify authenticity of bills, discount approvals, and promotional offers before processing.
Ensure security and safety of cash, jewellery, and financial documents.
Assist in stock audits and tallying gold/diamond weights during billing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.
Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and assist in solving queries related to payments.
Requirements:
Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
1–3 years of experience as a cashier in a jewellery or luxury retail environment.
Knowledge of jewellery terms (gold purity, carats, hallmark, etc.) is an added advantage.
Strong math and reconciliation skills.
Familiarity with POS systems and billing software.
Trustworthy, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in Hindi and English.

Working Conditions:
6 days a week with rotational week-offs.
Ability to work extended hours during festivals or sale seasons.
