Responsibilities Must Have experience in Zbrush
Design and concept development: Conceptualize and design original jewelry, from initial sketches to detailed 3D models using CAD software.
Material selection: Source and evaluate materials such as precious metals, gemstones, and other materials, and assess their quality.
Prototyping: Create prototypes to test for durability, comfort, and style, and assess wax models for enhancements.
Client and team collaboration: Meet with clients to understand their vision and requirements for custom pieces, and work with craftsmen and other departments to bring designs to life.
Production oversight: Manage the production process, ensuring designs are executed correctly and quality control standards are met.
Market and trend research: Stay up-to-date on market trends, fashion, and new design innovations to create relevant and appealing pieces.
Quality assurance: Perform quality checks on finished products, which may include polishing, stone setting, and other finishing work.
Skills and qualifications
Creativity and artistry: A strong artistic vision and creative talent are essential for designing unique pieces.
Technical proficiency: Skills in using design software, especially CAD, are often required.
