As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewelry Designer (Hand or iPad Sketch Artist) to join our in-house design team and contribute to our next era of timeless elegance.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Jewelry Designer with strong hand sketching abilities to bring original concepts to life through detailed, expressive illustrations. The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for fine jewelry, a strong sense of luxury aesthetics, and a proven ability to transform inspiration into elegant, wearable designs.
Key Responsibilities: Design & Concept Development:
Create original hand-drawn jewelry designs, including rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and bridal collections.
Develop mood boards and design concepts based on seasonal trends, client briefs, and the brand’s creative direction.
Translate ideas into precise sketches suitable for CAD modeling and production.
Collaboration & Customization:
Work closely with CAD designers, artisans, and the merchandising team to ensure designs are production-ready.
Assist in designing personalized and custom pieces based on client specifications.
Provide design input for new product collections and special edition pieces.
Research & Trend Analysis:
Stay updated on jewelry and fashion trends, gemstone innovations, and global design aesthetics.
Bring new ideas to the table that resonate with Evara Jewelry’s modern yet timeless style.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a jewelry designer with hand sketching expertise (portfolio required).
Strong understanding of jewelry structures, stone settings, and production techniques.
Degree or diploma in Jewelry Design or Fine Arts (Preferred).
Knowledge of gemstones, especially diamonds and colored stones.
Ability to work with CAD designers (Rhino, Matrix, or JewelCAD knowledge is a plus).
Preferred Skills:
A sharp eye for detail, proportion, and luxury finishing.
Strong visual storytelling and concept presentation abilities.
Experience with both traditional and contemporary design styles.
Understanding of market demands and consumer preferences.
