Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Manual Diamond Jewelry Designer – Head of Department (HOD) to lead our design team. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in hand-sketching diamond jewelry and a strong understanding of diamond settings, proportions, and production feasibility. You will oversee the manual design team, drive creative direction, and ensure quality and innovation in every piece.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of manual jewelry designers
Create and review high-quality hand-drawn diamond jewelry designs
Understand market trends and client requirements to guide design direction
Ensure design feasibility and alignment with production capabilities
Collaborate with CAD, merchandising, and production teams
Maintain documentation, timelines, and quality standards
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in manual diamond jewelry designing
Strong sketching, visualization, and creative skills
Excellent understanding of diamond cuts, settings, and craftsmanship
Leadership or team management experience preferred
Diploma or Degree in Jewelry Design is a plus
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects
