Jewelry Designer at Kicky and Perky
About Us:
Kicky and Perky is a leading silver jewelry brand specializing in exquisite designs featuring moissanite and semi-precious stones. We pride ourselves on creating unique pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
Job Profile:
Based on research, create designs according to the design calendar and requirements.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduation/Postgraduation from NIFT, NID, or any design-centric premier universities.
Experience:
- 4-+ years of relevant experience in Jewelry Designing, Manufacturing, and New Product Development.
- Prior experience in Customized Designing is preferable.
What Will You Do?
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of product trends and customer requirements.
- Understand the jewelry design aesthetic and help build differentiated product designs with respect to segment and price-specific ranges, collections, and so on.
- Create effective and relevant market-wise new product requirement plans and briefs and build appropriate designs to cater to these requirements.
- Interact with the Marketing, Merchandising, Retail & ISCM teams to build relevant products.
- Provide insights to in-house as well as vendor interfaces to create exclusive product ranges.
- Handle the vendor selection processes.
- Create the Design Language & Consumer Boards.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Key Deliverables:
- Enhancing the brand image by creating a strong aspiration for the brand.
- Setting trends in Kicky and Perky markets.
- Generating the design calendar for the new product launch (Collections/Refreshers).
- Adhering to the said design calendar - number of designs/collections.
- GC earnings of new designs.
- Analyzing trends in the jewelry field.
Core Responsibilities:
- Travel across India on short notice.
- Innovation: Develop new insights; convert market trends into designs and products.
- Ownership: Being aware of current and future trends in the jewelry market, thereby creating innovative designs with high GC products.
- Drive for Results: Hands-on approach; being proactive.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Understand the business requirements, have a long-term perspective, involve and engage others, respect the value of individual contributions pertaining to various stakeholders, including vendor partners.
- Customer Focus: Anticipate customer needs for existing and potential customers.
- Dealing with Ambiguity: Synthesize knowledge from various sources and constantly update the knowledge base.
