Job Summary:
The Jewelry Maker / Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality jewelry pieces from concept to completion for Blackthorn Jewels. This includes designing new collections, crafting pieces by hand or with tools, sourcing materials, and ensuring excellent craftsmanship and consistency. This role is ideal for someone with a creative eye, fine motor skills, and a love for detail and design.
Blackthorn Jewels is owned and operated under Infinity Management Inc. Infinity Events & Décor is just one of our many subsidiaries that are heavily involved in the events industry and encompass a wide range of event related services and activities that include but are not limited to: weddings, charity & non profit functions, large scale corporate events, jewelry, live florals, photography, videography, event venue management and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design original jewelry pieces and assist in developing new collections
Handcraft pieces using metals, stones, wire, beads, and other materials
Assemble, polish, and finish products with precision and quality
Collaborate on custom orders or limited-edition pieces
Assist with sourcing and selecting materials as needed
Work with the production schedule to meet deadlines and order demands
Qualifications:
Experience in jewelry making, metalsmithing, or a related craft (professional or hobbyist with a portfolio)
Knowledge of jewelry tools, materials, and design techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with fine, delicate components
Creativity and a passion for fashion, design, and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with jewelry CAD software or design programs is a plus, but not required
Bonus Skills:
Stone setting, soldering, or casting experience
Previous work with fine or semi-precious materials
Understanding of small business or e-commerce operationsSalary
