Responsibilities
• Working with the engineering and product teams on Jira, helping with user administration, building custom workflows, documenting user guides, and assisting users with the tool.
• Configuring and customizing Jira projects, workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
• Implement automation opportunities to improve efficiencies.
• Create automation rules.
• Support Jira/Confluence add-ons
• General user support
• Create Jira queries (JQL)
• Evaluate and make recommendations for new and existing plug-ins to the Atlassian stack.
• Build training documentation.
• Build integrations with existing corporate tools.
• Create automation rules and Jira queries (JQL)
• Builds workspaces, reports, workflows & dashboards.
• Manages Jira user groups and project roles along with Jira plug-ins and integration into other platforms.
• Performs periodic reviews of the system environments for configurations, permissions, workflows, integrations, and logs.
• Manages, coordinates, and implements software upgrades.
• Stays current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommends ways to take advantage of new technologies.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor and or manager.
Desired Skills
• 5+ years of Jira and Confluence experience
• Experience integrating with other systems is required.
• Experience with automation required.
• Experience with Unix/Linux
• Excellent communication skills
